
Steve L. Robinson
President & CEO
Steve Robinson serves as the President and CEO of the Alexander City Chamber of Commerce, where he leads strategic initiatives to foster economic growth and community engagement. With a strong background in business management, operations, and technology, Steve brings over three decades of experience in leadership roles across various industries.
Before joining the Chamber, Steve served as the General Manager at Hercules Poly Inc., overseeing daily operations across multiple departments and managing a staff of 13, contributing to annual sales of $28 million. He also held key leadership positions at companies like Madix Inc. as the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Assurance and at AmTech as the SVP Chief Operations Officer. His career includes a significant tenure as the CIO/COO at Aliant Bank, where he managed bank operations and technology, playing a crucial role during the bank’s merger into USAmeriBank.
Steve’s professional journey began at Russell Corporation, an international apparel company, where he rose through various roles over two decades, including Manager of Information Technical Services, responsible for enterprise-wide network communications.
A native of Alexander City, Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with minors in Information Systems and Industrial Psychology from Auburn University and an Associate of Science in Management and Supervision from Central Alabama Community College. He has completed professional development programs at the Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina.
Steve is deeply committed to the Alexander City community, having served as President of Leadership Lake Martin, President of the Alex City School Board, and as a Tallapoosa County Commissioner for 12 years. He has also been active on multiple boards, including Sav-A-Life, Lake Martin Area United Way, and the Alexander City Chamber of Commerce Board.
Steve’s leadership and dedication to community service, combined with his extensive business experience, make him a vital asset to the Chamber and the Alexander City community.

Tanya Knight
Vice President – Marketing & Membership
Tanya Knight is the Vice President of Marketing & Membership for the Alexander City Chamber of Commerce. In her role, she organizes, plans, and directs the Chamber’s external marketing efforts for its initiatives, events, and programs. This includes developing and executing an annual marketing strategy, managing social and digital media, overseeing print communications, and maintaining the Chamber’s digital presence through newsletters. Tanya also oversees membership services, handling new member outreach, onboarding, and the Maximize Your Membership program, as well as managing the Growth Zone Membership Directory and targeted communication strategies for recruiting new members.
Before joining the Chamber in February 2025, Tanya spent 16 years as the owner of Inprint4u, a sales and promotional company she founded to support local businesses with promotional products. Prior to her entrepreneurial venture, she worked at Russell Corporation for 15 years, where she held various management roles in engineering, plant management, and production planning & scheduling. Additionally, Tanya led Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects across the Southeast as a private consultant.
A native of Alexander City, Alabama, Tanya graduated from Benjamin Russell High School and later earned her degree in Textile Engineering from North Carolina State University. She is actively involved with First Baptist Church. In 2021, she was honored as Chamber Ambassador of the Year. Tanya is married to Mark Knight, and they have three children—Jackson, Bexley, and Lilli.

Kim Dunn
Vice President – Special Events & Sponsorship
Kim Dunn is the Vice President of Special Events & Sponsorship for the Alexander City Chamber of Commerce. She is responsible for marketing the chamber and its activities through print and radio advertising, newsletters, social media, and the mobile app. Kim also coordinates many special events throughout the year, including quarterly lunches, the annual meeting, Lead Forward, Sun Festival, Holiday Open House, and the Christmas Parade. She also currently serves as secretary for the Leadership Lake Martin Board of Directors.
Prior to joining the Chamber of Commerce in 2008, Kim spent seven years in the Marketing Department at Wellborn Cabinet in Ashland, AL, assisting with marketing, advertising, and public relations. A native of Alexander City, Kim graduated from Benjamin Russell High School in 1996 and Auburn University Montgomery in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She has one daughter, Blair.
Kim’s extensive experience in marketing and event coordination, combined with her deep roots in the community, make her an invaluable asset to the Chamber.

Jaden Tuck
Coordinator – Workforce & Career Readiness
Jaden Tuck serves as the Coordinator of Workforce & Career Readiness at the Alexander City Chamber of Commerce. In this role, Jaden leads the Chamber’s Workforce & Career Readiness initiative, collaborating with community and educational partners to develop targeted, industry-driven workforce and life skills youth development programs. He acts as a liaison between the Chamber, local businesses, and educational institutions, ensuring alignment with workforce needs and opportunities.
Before joining the Chamber, Jaden gained valuable experience as a Marketing Assistant at Baptist Health in Montgomery, AL, where he partnered with multiple entities on rebranding initiatives and organized events. He also worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Fitness Equipment Outlet in Alexander City, managing installation projects and ensuring quality assurance. At the University of West Alabama, Jaden served as a Logistics/Special Teams Graduate Assistant for the football team, organizing meetings, meals, and game logistics.
A native of Alexander City, Jaden holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications and a Master of Business Administration from the University of West Alabama. He is actively involved in the community, volunteering with the Alexander City Chamber of Commerce Sun Festival, Baptist Hospice Camp Celebration, and UWA Football FCA, among other events.
Jaden’s dedication to fostering partnerships and implementing effective workforce development strategies makes him an invaluable asset to the Chamber, contributing significantly to the economic vitality of the Alexander City community.
